Our first trip of 1999 was to Hippy Hollow on Lake Travis just West of Austin.  The weather was nice and so was the water. There were approximately 10 people who attended.  Two new members too!  First sunburn of the year.

May 30, 1999
Pool party at Terry and Diane's

The water was great and so was the food.  There were approximately 25 people in attendance.  We ate, played volleyball in the pool and got sunburned.  It was great!
There was a picture of the game but somehow it didin't come out.

June 12th, 1999
Five of us made the trip to Live Oak Resort for the Naturists convention.  There was some serious rain but plenty of sun too.  The volleyball was excellent.

The trip to Tom & Barbara's home on the Medina River is as much fun as last year.  There were approximately 30 people there.  The food was great as usual.  We should change our name to "The good eat'n club".
We were able to walk up and down the river.  How about that view from the pool?

August 17th
The pool party at Harveys was fun as usual.  Hamburgers and hot dogs for all!   The picture on the right shows the new patio enclosure Harvey just had installed.
September
9 of us went to Star Ranch near Austin.  It was my first visit and I enjoyed it very much.  They have a large pool that was quite cold but I got used to it.  Excellent sand volleyball courts and a Cajun dinner by the pool.  The little rental shacks were a blast from the past.  A trip back into time to the 60s.   Whoah!!

Herb's Pool

We got a lot of people in the hot tub.

October 23rd
Thanks to Herb for sharing his beautiful house and yard with us.  It was a beautiful day.  The heater was broken on the pool but that didn't stop a few brave people. It may be October but there was plenty of opportunity for sunburn.

December 11th
Christmas party at Sandy's.  We all thank Sandy for sharing her beautiful house with us this Christmas.  The food was great and so was the company.  We had at least three new members visit us for the first time.  Sandy has a seriously excellent hot tub!
Thanks again!
