Scrapbook 2003

Jan 12th - Textile lunch at HomeTown Buffet.  We had the party room all to ourselves.  About 30 members attended on this cold rainy day.  It will be summer again soon.

Feb 15th - Mike & Maria along with co-host, Calvin, threw one heck of a bash Saturday evening.  As seen by the picture, there were plenty of people enjoying their hospitality and a great barbecue meal. Some of us were in the living room while the rest were in their den (recently converted from a garage) while Mike showed off his new High Definition TV. You haven’t seen “Star Wars” till you’ve seen it on HDTV!

April 12th - Party at Harvey and Jeff's.

Sunday, May 18 -  The heat was on but Harvey & Jeff’s pool proved to be a refreshing cool delight to all who attended the pot luck lunch and swim. As always, it only took a handful of pool toys to turn us all into five-year-olds! Guests Dave, Mike, Amiee, and Russ, joined everyone to a great lunch of fried chicken plus all the appropriate side dishes and desserts.

Saturday, May 31 -  Swimmin' at Herb's.

A very large group took refuge from the scalding heat in Herb’s refreshing pool at a pot luck on Saturday.

One advantage of having a large group is that there are a wide variety of choices on the buffet all complementing Herb’s famous ham (and a fine ham it was too).

Ah, Medina, Medina. What can be said that hasn’t already been said about this peaceful retreat. As usual, we had a relaxing day there on Saturday, July 12! Cecil & Vicki hosted our official Nude Recreation Week event at their friends, Tom & Barbara’s place, high up on a hill overlooking the Medina River.

Thanks to Cecil & Vicki for hosting and for making arrangements with their friends, and thanks to Tom & Barbara for inviting us to their beautiful home to spend the day.

We all enjoyed the day at Dave & Geri’s lovely home on Saturday, August 9. Their pool was very inviting, and a great pot luck buffet featuring turkey and chicken teriyaki (not to mention multiple desserts and Blue Bell ice cream) was followed by pool volleyball.

August 17

We tied our tubes together, and floated down the San Marcos river twice. Then we had dinner at Mamacita’s Mexican Restaurant.
